Frontier expands its supported living services to Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent

Frontier expands its supported living services to Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent
Published: 18 February 2025

We’ve arrived in Kent! After years of delivering high-quality supported living services for adults with complex needs across London and beyond, Frontier Support is now fully operational in Royal Tunbridge Wells.

But as an award-winning supported living provider with extensive experience in delivering person-centred care, we’re not ones to do things by halves!

“We can achieve similar positive outcomes”

Therefore our first major step in Kent isn’t just any supported living service—it’s a brand-new, state-of-the-art supported living scheme that’s been developed in partnership with Zetetick Housing

“The scheme is a cluster of four newly built homes, each designed to the highest standard, providing a modern, welcoming environment for people who need varying levels of support,” Frontier’s CEO, Tony Piercy, explains.

“We’ve seen huge success in similar schemes in Croydon, where our mix of shared staffing, personalised one-to-one support, and overnight assistance, enhanced by the latest assistive technology, has delivered fantastic outcomes for the people we support and cost-effective solutions for local authorities,” Tony continues.

“I have no doubt that with this new scheme in Kent we can achieve similar positive outcomes,” our CEO adds. “So watch this space!”.

Why expand our supported living services into Kent?

It’s a good question. As a preferred provider on Kent’s Supported Living Framework, we saw an opportunity to bring our expertise, our specialist Clinical and Operational Teams, and our unwavering commitment to excellence to the neighbouring county and we took it.

At Frontier, we know that supported living should be more than just a roof over someone’s head. It should be about security, independence, and opportunity—and these are all the values we’re bringing to Tunbridge Wells.

What sets us apart from our competitors?

Founded in 2006, Frontier has just under 20 years of experience in the care sector.

In that time, we’ve helped hundreds of people live happier, healthier, and more independent lives—and we’ve even won an award for doing so. In fact, judges at the Great British Care Awards named Frontier as the best Supported Living Team across the South East stating that we demonstrated ‘true excellence’ in our field.

Another fact that makes us stand out from the crowd? The fact that our staff training programme is extremely robust and starts on day one of employment. This means our highly professional team has all the necessary training and tools to ensure the people we support live active and socially inclusive lives behind their own front door.

We can also provide support via supported living to people with a variety of needs. This includes those living with:

  • Learning Disabilities
  • Autism
  • Aspergers
  • Epilepsy
  • Mental & Physical Health issues
  • Challenging Behaviour

But the real secret to our sauce is our dedicated Clinical Team. Headed up by our Clinical Director, Lee Elkin, who trained at the Tizard Centre and the Institute of Applied Behavioural Analysis, we have clinical expertise in-house, rather than needing to involve the NHS. This results in faster decisions for the people we support and support that is more responsive to their changing needs.

Collaboration is key

We’re committed to building strong relationships with local organisations, commissioners, and social workers across Kent.

By collaborating with existing providers, professionals, and the Local Authority, we can create a joined-up approach that prioritises individual needs, maximises resources, and delivers real impact.

If you’re a commissioner, social worker, or professional looking to partner with a supported living provider in Kent and beyond, please do get in touch.
