We are looking for experienced compassionate and reliable Support Workers to support male adults with learning disabilities in their daily lives. This role involves supporting individuals to maintain their independence, take part in activities, and manage day-to-day tasks, including personal care where required. Due to the nature of the role and the personal care needs of the individuals we support, this position is open to male applicants only. This is a Genuine Occupational Requirement in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, to ensure privacy and dignity are maintained. Full and part time hours available the hourly rate for the service is £13.50 per hour. This is a waking night service so shifts will be days and nights, shifts are over seven days, and it will be a requirement to work some weekends. Being trained in Nappi UK level 2 training is required for this service full training will be provided. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting individuals with daily living tasks
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Encouraging independence and community involvement
  • Providing emotional and practical support
  • Following support plans and safeguarding procedures

  • Caring, patient, and respectful
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience is essential
  • Willingness to undertake training
  • Ability to respond calmly to challenging situations

We have an exciting opportunity to work in our new service opening in Dulwich, South London we are looking for male and female Support Workers
  • Permanent full and part-time roles will be considered at £12.71 per hour.
  • An additional payment of £35.00 is paid per sleep-in at our services where a sleep-in is required
  • Shifts are over seven days and it will be a requirement to work some weekends
  • Hold a full driving licence and happy to drive service vehicle

About Frontier Support

Frontier Support Services provide Domiciliary Care and Support Living services to individuals in their own homes for people over 18 years of age who may have learning disabilities, mental health issues, an autistic spectrum disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome, physical disabilities, and /or emitted challenging behaviour. The successful candidate will be required to provide support to individuals with varying needs and abilities within their own homes, maintaining appropriate levels of respect, dignity, and professionalism. Previous experience within this industry is desirable, however applicants with limited or no experience will be considered as full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be proactive but also be respectful towards the clients and their needs. You will be a self- motivator that thrives in a busy environment and able to use your initiative in a sometimes pressured or challenging situations. This is a highly rewarding role where you will be relied upon and required to support individuals on a daily basis.
