What We Do
Frontier provides award-winning supported living services for vulnerable adults to live as independently as possible in their own homes. We specialise in support for complex needs and challenging behaviour.
Frontier has around 200 staff in total:
- Caring and enthusiastic qualified support workers
- Experienced management team
- Organised and efficient office team
- Our secret weapon – an in-house Clinical Team.
We support people with learning disabilities and complex need to live in their own home across London and the South East. We work with a range of local authorities including Croydon and Lambeth. Also housing providers including Zetetick Housing who match properties to people’s specific needs. This might mean making adaptations such as assisted technology.
What we do on a day-to-day basis for the people we support varies from person to person and from day to day. So, one day we might be helping Sophie to make her first shepherd’s pie. Another we’ll be supporting four vulnerable adults wanting to spruce up their garden by painting a shed and doing some planting.
Our priority is to provide person centred care. We are proud to be able to help people move from Assessment and Treatment centres, where their lives may have been extremely regimented, to living behind their own front door. And we have had some wonderful feedback from families devastated to see their relatives shut away and amazed how much more enjoyment they are now taking from life.
Our stellar work has also won us an award. In 2023, Frontier Support was named as the best Supported Living Team across the South East at the Great British Care Awards.
With Frontier Support there are lots of options. Some people live alone with our care and support, some share in small households. Whatever the requirements, it’s all about individual needs and what will work best.
