A successful day at the Lambeth Autism Fair

A successful day at the Lambeth Autism Fair
Published: 20 April 2018

We were really pleased to be part of the Lambeth Autism Fair earlier this month; which was aimed at parents and carers with children on the autistic spectrum and autistic adults.

The Frontier stand was staffed by Acting CEO, Tony Piercy and various members of the Frontier team including support workers, managers and members of the behavioural support team. It was a fabulous event with a wonderful atmosphere and informative speakers.

Tony Piercy said: “It was notable how many older parents of grown up children we met who had concerns over what might happen to their sons or daughters when mum and dad are no longer able to provide care.  I hope we were able to give some peace of mind around the sort of support that could be put in place.

“It was a great day.  And the Frontier Support fidget spinners seemed to go down a treat!”

Frontier has been supporting vulnerable adults in their own homes across London and the South East since 2006.  We provide imaginative, specialist care and support to people with a variety of needs including Learning Disabilities, Autism, Aspergers, Epilepsy, Mental & Physical Health issues and Challenging Behaviour.

We love what we do and our aim is to help the people we support to live active and socially inclusive lives incorporating supported employment, life skills such as managing their own money, cooking and doing their food shopping and a range of leisure activities from sewing to sky diving.

We are experts in care and support for vulnerable adults. We are registered with and regulated by the Care and Quality Commission (CQC) and were last inspected in 2016 when we were rated as Good.
