Positive Behavioural Support Training for ClaraPositive Practices in Behavioural Support training programme is a hit with Clara
One of the things that we believe sets us apart as a Care Organisation is the strength of our Behavioural Support Team. And it’s important to us that we continue to invest in the team and develop their skills and expertise. So our Positive Behaviour Assistant, Clara Burfutt, has recently completed a course on Positive Practices in Behavioural Support with the Institute for Applied Behaviour Analysis ( IABA ) which is dedicated to the advancement of positive practices and person-centred services in the field of challenging behaviour.
Clara said: “The four day training programme covered a variety of topics including Person-Centred Positive Behavioural Support, Emergency Management and Reactive Strategies Within a Positive Practices Framework, Assuring Staff Consistency and the Provision of Quality Services.
It was a really valuable experience to be able to add to my skills and also share experiences with other professionals. I’m really looking forward to bringing my new knowledge back to Frontier”
