Great British Care Awards 2023: Frontier Support named as regional finalist

We are over the moon to announce that Frontier Support is a finalist in the South East Regional of the Great British Care Awards, after making the shortlist for five different accolades. 

The prestigious awards are a celebration of excellence across the care sector. They pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work. 

All in all, there are 23 awards up for grabs ranging from the Putting People First Award to the Workforce Development Award. But the five awards we’ve been nominated for include: 

1. Care Employee of the year

This award looks to acknowledge and celebrate employers’ commitment to care and how this is achieving success in delivering an excellent service. Winners should be able to demonstrate ‘considerable acumen’ and ‘entrepreneurial flair’, whilst at the same time having a sustained track record of delivering high quality care and managing improvement.

2. Co-production category

This award recognises the value of Co-Production in designing services. Judges are looking out for people with lived experience who have gone above and beyond to ensure services are shaped to improve quality and outcomes, and care professionals who adopt partnership working to ensure that people who use services have a voice.

3. Dignity in Care category

This award will be presented to an individual who can demonstrate the significance of maximising client independence and choice, whilst respecting and maintaining privacy and dignity at all times.

4. Supported Living Team category

Judges are looking for teams who best demonstrate a shared vision and agreed goals, along with having an excellent communication process and high commitment to dignity and privacy for clients. 

5. Three Rs category

This category recognises organisations and individuals who have adopted an innovative approach to Recruitment, Retention and Recognition. Esteemed judges are looking for examples of strategies that recruit on values, promote diversity and inclusion, value and recognise excellence in the workplace and retain a highly motivated and skilled workforce.

The winners are due to be announced on 17th of November at the Great British Care Awards in-person ceremony, which is being held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Metropole in Brighton.
