What an amazing Paralympics, team GB did us proud, with an amazing group of 264 athletes. Our team of athletes shone and surpassed the medal target. Overall Britain came second with a total score of 147 medals of these were 64 gold, 39 sliver and 44 bronze.
The Paralympics are so important about raising the public profile of people with a range of different bodies’
types and perceived limitations and showing the world how they as individuals have dedicated huge commitment
to being the best in their chosen sport.
It’s about overlooking difference and seeing that everyone is able to big achievements to be
proud of…
The closing ceremony went out with a bang and was enjoyed by many of the people we support, some of whom went to their local pub to celebrate.
Looking forward to the next games in 2020, Tokyo here we come…
