Shamara Shepherd - Deputy Area Manager

I am a qualified social worker and have experience of working in both statutory settings and private care. I have experience of completing assessments and ensuring that my clients have personalised care plans that meet all of their needs.

Before my time at Frontier, I was working as a Deputy Service Manager for another care company. Whilst there, I supported adults with learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries, paralysis and epilepsy.

Frontier has an ethos that is in line with my own. It puts the client at the heart of everything they do. I’d say I’m most looking forward to meeting the new clients and building a good rapport with them. I’d love to build on the experience that I already have and progress within this company as opportunities arrive.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym (when it’s open), spending time with friends and family and long walks with my dog.
