Clara Buruftt, Assistant Behavioural Practioner
“I joined Frontier in 2007 as a support worker. I was promoted to a team leader role just a year later and found it very rewarding when my team were able improve the quality of life of the people we supported. My current role as a Positive Behaviour Assistant is challenging at times but I always face each day with a positive attitude knowing that if that if I can do one thing to make a difference to a person’s life then it is a job well done. I really like that, as an organisation, Frontier is committed to put the people we support at the center of what we do.
As an employer, Frontier offers its people a wide range of opportunities for personal and career development. During my time with the organisation I have gained several qualifications including NVQs and Diplomas. I have also become a certified trainer and recently completed a four day course with the Institute for Applied Behaviour Analysis ( IABA ) which was delivered by its Clinical Director, Gary W. Lavigna. I have also appreciated Frontier’s flexibility around childcare challenges.”
